Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship

PSHC Education is important to the well-being of children and forms an integral part of our curriculum.  It is essential that they develop and appreciate the knowledge, skills and attitudes which will contribute to their physical, mental and social well-being.

We regularly teach PSHCE throughout the school on a thematic basis; Health and Wellbeing, Relationships and Living in the Wider World.  We teach this with the aim to help children feel safe and secure, have the tools to find help when needed,  understand and manage their feelings and give them the necessary skills to verbalise these.  These issues are further explored within our daily school assemblies.
